Sending Pickup Point information

Explains how custom pickup point works and how to handle it

⚠️ Plan availability

This feature is available on the Advance and Premium plans. If your current plan does not include this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Shipup Support to learn more about the available options.

For Click & Collect orders, trackers are not associated with a carrier: the customer collects their order directly from one of the merchant’s pickup points.

To provide customers with the information they need for collection, merchants can send Shipup by Zigzag details about their pickup points, such as the store name, address, opening hours, phone number, and GPS coordinates.

Pickup point information can then be used across the Click & Collect experience, including customer notifications and tracking pages, so customers know exactly where and when to collect their order.

Pickup point information is provided by uploading a CSV file containing the merchant’s store details. Each pickup point is identified by a unique merchant_id, which is then included in the tracker payload to associate a Click & Collect order with the correct pickup point.
